Located in the heart of New Orleans and serving clients nationally, we’re seeking a Design Engineer who will be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual side of products. This position is all about mastery of layout, styles, and reusable components. Required Skills:

• Writing and maintaining CSS

• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS

• Basic knowledge of Javascript and DOM manipulation

• Creating and following design patterns

• Creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes

• Building reusable components

• Experience working with front-end frameworks

• Adaptable to working in various languages/environments (Phoenix/Elixir, React, React Native, WP)

• Staying up to date with the latest CSS developments

• Accessibility testing

• Cross-browser and device testing

Nice to have:

• Product branding (logos, colors, establishing design patterns and visual languages)

• Experience creating or contributing to an open-source front-end framework

• Experience with Phoenix LiveView

We are a remote-enabled company, but we actively prefer to find folks in Louisiana.
